yes on 22.04 -- I updated to 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.28 which is correct based on https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-8948-1
(I had to get rid of the ondrej/ppa repository first, which I had been using to run 8.3 on these systems. So, more work still to at some point but I figured getting the patch in first was the right thing to do in this situation!)
Thanks! Not sure actually ... this morning I was getting 503 Service Unavailable from ppa.launchpadcontent.net/ondrej when doing apt update or apt upgrade, so worked around it for the time being. I'll check back when I get a chance.
Yeah I have one system with a ridiculously old PHP, i ran into some problems upgrading years ago and then forgot about it. until today! oops. i've shut it down for now.
software, smh. the upgrade paths were slightly different on each of the three other systems i run even though they were all running 8.3 before this.
@ai6yr Does Ubuntu have the updated versions in their repos yet?
