Panel 1. The Scholar sorceress with a snake tattoo stands in a desolated land made of ruins and dead trees. She speaks to her Avian Intelligence (AI) parrot flying near her shoulder.
> Scholar: "Avian Intelligence, remind me how to cast a Ring of Fire spell? You know, the one you trained on from Cepper's 'AI Protected' research?"
> AI Parrot: "Absolutely! PyroCorona." — Panel 1. The Scholar sorceress with a snake tattoo stands in a desolated land made of ruins and dead trees. @davidrevoy I was hoping that’s what she was doing!

David Revoy

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org 1 hr. ago

@moonshine_fox Thank you. It was a bit hidden, but I hope it will be easier to read and come back to it for the (future) book.

A close up on the panel 1 of episode 74: the poisoned black board with a strike over Pyrocircus and Pyrocorona circled.

@nieuemma Thank you☺️ That was a challenge to draw her this way, and I still wanted her to look cool.

Boris Schapira

@davidrevoy So she can invoke a fireball without saying Pyrobolus?!

David Revoy

@borisschapira Good point! I guess she is a professional 😆

Hey, this episode is a bit special so I wanted to write a little note under: it mirrors the second episode of the Avian Intelligence series https://www.peppercarrot.com/en/miniFantasyTheater/028.html and it punishes this scholar with a snake tatoo who scanned the research of Cepper in the previous episode against her consent.

I'm preparing a book with the Avian Intelligence series, and this mirroring effect is for the logic of ending the book (but this episode is not the end, next one will be my conclusion... for the book 1).

@davidrevoy there's so much I love about the AI series. One aspect I really like (but don't know if intended):

Clarke's (3rd) Law: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

Thank you for all your wonderful work! 🤗

@davidrevoy Love it. Hopefully the book will be available in the UK.

David Revoy

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org 56 min. ago

@thirstybear Yes, I'm studying a service of print on demand that writes they deliver to "200+ countries", so I guess UK will be part of it. I'll know more details soon, and I'll try to post on the blog and here an announcement.

@davidrevoy And obviously, in the next comic Cepper is going to be the bad guy, all the academy going after her for poisoning her research. "It's your fault a scholar sorceress got burnt!"
