@davidgerard it's not only wordpress but PHP as a whole. Every PHP based application is kinda screwed right now until patches are shipped.
@spitfire i'm running an ancient ubuntu 18.04 box with firewalling and i *have* the spare box and i've been putting off setting it up for a coupla months now

@davidgerard I know the pain. I am still running a Debian 12 machine that hosts ALL (and I mean all of it) of my stuff because I am too chicken to release-upgrade 😆
@davidgerard @spitfire You might be able to get a newer PHP version for your old Ubuntu from https://launchpad.net/~ondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php

@davidgerard @bvibber I had to just turn PHP on my server off because the time between patch release and me getting home to manage a proper patching is over 2 HOURS (thanks for releasing it during my shift lads, really nice of ya)
