For whatever reason it finally occurred to me that when I get back into building my "Alonzo" visual functional programming language...
I should write some trivial logic to synthesize new branches, so I can start writing Alonzo programs & see if they typecheck correctly!
0.5/2!
So my plan:
1. Quickly ensure I can write Alonzo programs
2. Typecheck expressions
3. Typecheck branching
4. Intelligently synthesize missing branches
5. Open & save Alonzo programs
5. Literal numbers & basic maths primitives
6. Literal strings
7. Stepwise interpretater, with a debugging UI
8. Modal UI primitives for Alonzo programs
9. Version control
10. Refine, & make an extra effort to ensure Alonzo grows beyond me!
I'll see if I can get this done between SeaGL & the new year!
2/2!
