@gilesgoat this one takes a while before you stop crashing into things and exploding, and for the controls to start feeling familiar, but it is *really* good fun and looks great on my ultrawide :)

@gilesgoat sort of wipeout/f-zero in the star wars universe.
@llamasoft_ox @gilesgoat I keep seeing it referred to as Burnout Star Wars more than anything else and I can really see how some people would make the connection with the boosting and the crash cams
@Angelo @gilesgoat oh yeah burnout of course. I believe some of the Burnout devs worked on it too.

@gilesgoat @Angelo well you can smash into the other racers to cause them to crash, and certain powerups give you a speed boost or some other benefit when you do. And it has that classic "takedown cam" view where you get to see them crash in slow motion.
They can do the same to you of course!
It doesn't have the 'crash junction' stuff from Burnout but you can see Burnout DNA all over it nonetheless.
@llamasoft_ox I am impressed at the dedication you have for certain ( many ) games you really like 🙂 Me I normally get a point where "it's too difficult for me" and I stop having fun 😐 I am not much of a "challenge" type I suppose. Despite this I did finish SOME games ..
