So much great work went into this, focusing not only and clarity but #accessibility. It was done only after talking to the community extensively. There are so many thoughtful details. Just poke around and you'll find them. Sure it's not fully complete yet (e.g. the right side is empty) but such a change a HUGE lift and a small team so they have to take it in waves.

@davidgerard@circumstances.run at Akademy he was kinda making fun of Omarchy and never really said anything good about it, also he wasn't really pushing kde to add "ai" to the desktop environment, he was just talking about ways other projects are trying to use llms to make the ux different. Also if you're worried about "ai" getting into Plasma, Plasma devs have said they have no intentions of ever doing that

@skydotbit and yet, his go-to example was the nazi desktop. and his actual objection to it was not that it was nazi, but that it wasn't ai *enough*. I can't really imagine a context to make that better. there's zero reason he could have just not used that fucking example, is there.

@davidgerard ah, so mastodon refuses to implement features like reply limiting requested by black users, cynically uses the same technology for their fucked up quote tweet protocol which was instantly implemented everywhere, then hires the racist designer to remove the corners from people's propics. i wonder when we can start calling mastodon racist software
