Whenever I want something from the local convenience shop, I always walk an extra 7 minutes to a shop further away. Because the man who owns the nearest one always makes small talk at the counter.

@fesshole Thinking about it, this will be something that Lloyds is doing. When you originally added your bank card to your Google wallet, you called up the bank, and they did the necessary work to associate the card details with the wallet. It looks like they're automatically carrying out the same process, using the new information, in order to avoid you having to call in and tie up one of their operators
