Hey @grunfink@comam.es - I'm subscribed to my peertube channel, but when there's a new video all it shows in snac is the title and the description. Not even a clickable link to the actual video is included.
Is this a known issue? Would it make sense for me to look into it and try to fix it?

I think the problem is around here: https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2/src/branch/master/activitypub.c#L372 - it seems to expect one level of nesting that isn't there in the json that's saved on disk.
Instead of something with 'application/x-mpegURL' as media type, it directly gets stuff that it expects at line 380.

Yes, definitely this is different from what I've previously seen coming from Peertube. I'll fix it and get back to you.

Hi again. This is strange, as the post you sent me shows correctly the video link:
If you look further below in the JSON file, there is (finally) a media type of application/x-mpegURL which is what snac finds and uses to insert the video tag.
It's a mystery to me why it doesn't show it on your system.
As @beelseal@snac.beelseal.com mentions above, they only get a usable video when they add it via the search box. The only reason I'm able to guess is that the post content that arrives first is different that what gets downloded afterwards from the search box.
I'll investigate it further.

Hi. Peertube posts used to be shown correctly, but maybe something has changed (I haven't tested again for a while).
Can you give a link to one of the posts that are not correctly shown?
