@NanoRaptor I somehow have at least 20 3D printers. (this happens when you run a makerspace)
@NanoRaptor analog cameras, I'm at 5 working ones
@NanoRaptor disproportionatly many? Portable radios, I just think they're neat
@NanoRaptor resistors…maybe 500,000 of them…and I only undertake maybe a handful of projects each year☺️😂
@NanoRaptor Either sheets of paper of various kinds, or Magic: The Gathering cards...
@Anke @NanoRaptor oh, mine is probably Magic cards too, now that I think about it
I've got like half a dozen Commander decks, which is already more cards than books and yarn combined
@NanoRaptor actually not sure whether I own more yarn or books
the vast majority of the books in the apartment are my wife's
@NanoRaptor Zipties, got several large baggies of different colors for cable management (anyone who's seen my cabling now laughs at me).
AA batteries might be close, but I don't keep more than a carton.
@NanoRaptor if you’re talking the same types of items with different values, I’d say capacitors. I’ve got a few spools of different value SMD caps, so probably >10k, whereas I’ve only got a couple of spools of SMD resistors. Also, I’ve definitely spent more on capacitors than even my gemstone collection, which includes several different kinds of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and others.
@NanoRaptor Do toilet paper squares count, or would they have to be detached first?
@NanoRaptor 10k ohm resistors. I think I accidentally bought 2 reels of 10,000
@NanoRaptor old intel and amd cpus from the early 2000s
@NanoRaptor Hmmmm. CDs, I think.
@piepants I’m pretty sure that’s mine too. Music, Hundreds of old collected Mac bundled and original CDs, burnt CDs and DVDs (most rotted by now) and a few hundred blanks (also probably well and truly dead)
@NanoRaptor ten metal mugs, tumblers, and thermoses of various sizes and features. twelve teapots. you never know if you feel like 2L of french press coffee or pu-erh from a dainty purple clay pot.
i mean, aside from consumables like fasteners, medication, hardware, dry shitake, and tinned fish 😸
