the best thing about peanut butter being so easy to make at home (literally just peanuts in a blender) is that stores sell flavoured peanuts.
so anyway i am currently enjoying some salt and vinegar peanut butter on toast for breakfast. :3

@electrocutie @PsyChuan only if he spreads it on a tortilla that he calls a “taco” (mispronounced)
@fluffy @electrocutie eurgh, why would that make it more British???
@PsyChuan @electrocutie I watch a lot of Britsh foodtubers and cooking shows, y’all seem to have Problems with Mexican food
@PsyChuan @electrocutie well, food colonialism in general, really
but I guess it was a silly joke that only seemed silly to me and in retrospect I guess it comes across as kind of mean
@fluffy @electrocutie nah it's fine, i was just kinda weirded out by the idea that putting peanut butter on a tortilla would be British, hahahah
but yeah a lot of our cooking shows kinda suck when they're going outside of "twee british" style. and we don't really get much in the way of mexican over here.
@PsyChuan @electrocutie yeah I was pretty aghast at this recent episode of Sorted Food: https://youtu.be/QSZgVgarywo
and of course there’s the infamously bad “Mexican Week” episode of Great British Bake-Off
YouTube
@fluffy @electrocutie god yeah that one was diabolical.
@PsyChuan I can't explain why
but this is the most UK thing you've ever done
