Ungoogled Chromium.

I was talking about Ungoogled Chromium which does more than just 'ungoogle' it.
I fail to see how it would be a degraded thing. After a decade, it is still lipstick on a pig. The Chromium codebase is more modern, has way better security features (proper sandboxing and privsep).
The biggest advantage that LibreWolf has is that it is not based on Chromium - actually working to stop the engine monopoly. But that does not magically fix the downsides and codebase.

Chromium is 1. based on Google, 2. it depends on Google, 3. it uses Google app store 4. just a little simple daily thing as browser tabs in last used order..., 5. Google is only tracking, spying, optimizing income on your behalf their do not give you anything for free, the prices are on your own back, and as you clearly failed to see these threats to free mind, democracy and human rights to privacy...
You know, follow the money, what does the program cost you
I know this means nothing to you, and you are probably hired by #gafam as you've blocked my security accounts

Hence Ungoogled Chromium. I am well aware of how effed the browser market is. It feels like an impossible choice that is wrong either way. I went with the choice I did as I do have a more complex threat model. That does not mean that I am in any way happy about it.
Regarding the "security accounts" - can you elaborate a bit on this?
@h3artbl33d@exquisite.social @fasterandworse@hci.social @davidrevoy@framapiaf.org why? why use degraded solutions, when we have LibreWolf with all the superior benefits over Chromium
sounds backwards to me...
