# A review of the BigMe B6, an Android colour eInk tablet
In short, for £140 + a micro SD card, I'm really rather pleased with it.

@tyrthecat Is there any particular PDF that you'd like me to try?
@neil I wasn't expecting this offer, that is very kind of you.
My PDF needs fall into either tech books or Table Top RPG manuals.
I guess the TTRPGs especially can be heavy for smaller devices.
Putting some links to titles that have PDF previews but you don't actually have to try any of them obviously.
An example for tech books can be downloaded here (there is a download chapter 5 button): https://nostarch.com/data-structures-fun-way
The Table Top RPGs examples I have at hand are for Call of Cthulhu or spooky themed Dungeon & Dragons so I'll send links in a separate toot with content warnings in case you want to skip them.
@neil two books that come with an example section are linked below if you'd want to try any of them (or none at all).

@neil
Seems like a nice little device, thanks for the review!
I wonder if you've tried EinkBro as a browser: https://plateaukao.github.io/einkbro/
@jandi I hadn't heard of it - thanks!
@neil ah! i wondered if it was that one when i went looking for eInk Android tablets
@millihertz You were correct!
@neil thank you for the wonderful write up, it was really exiting to read about your setup as I'd love something very similar (all I would add the wallabag app so I can read my saved up articles).
Have you tried reading PDFs on it?
Because of how they work I find PDFs hard to read on smaller devices and zooming the page used to mean having to constantly move the visible area and that was laggy and the refresh was not always great. With the higher refresh rates newer devices can achieve I'm wondering if the my issue is gone away.
