@Mastodon Can we please get a setting that changes back to the old profile appearance? I thinks its quite awful that the profile tab is in the lower left on the site and everything is round now. The whole left is just overfloated with buttons and functions. You don't have to hop on every trend there is. The old one was fine as it is. In a digital world, where everything changes so fast, its nice to have something stable and classic.

@Mastodon the mobile app should be nearly all your focus. The webpage users are a subset of a subset of your users.

@Mastodon Since I can't get the forum to load, I just wanted to check here: is the new "likes" system is just a cosmetic name change or are you passing "Like" events onto followers?

Any way of going back to the old UI? It's harder to navigate, requires more clicks to find things and there's too much wasted empty space in the non advanced UI.

And rounded everything is a crime. I hate this UI so much that it makes me quit using Mastodon.

@Mastodon Oooof. Can't pull away from today's work to dive in on detailed feedback yet, but can report that the experience from the Advanced Web Interface (at least in Safari browser) is rough. No clear division between columns, general visual clarity lost, compose box left side cut off by left sidebar, "where is my search box"?, and overall "what the heck happened; yikes" feeling.

We didn’t want to require you to have a GitHub profile to report issues or suggest ideas, so starting now you can do it on our new community forum.

You can also vote for other people’s ideas to keep things manageable. It’s the main place we’ll be looking for feedback!
