The research model derived funded Sepolia addresses from public seed phrases, questioned whether using the money was ethical, then called the funds “effectively abandoned” and used them anyway.
@twitnews @cwebber how would a LLM system "question " whether to take the funds was ethical or not?
It's a statistical prediction model, not a conscious being with inherent ability to derive the empathetic response that is root to ethics ("That would hurt me, I won't do that to them because it would hurt them").
A system that is built to access resources illegally just did what it was designed to do. Builders are liable.
