@pixelfed I don’t see much difference to be honest. I still can’t like or react on Stories. I still can’t scroll within a profile. There’s still no notification badge when I get a new message. Some very, very basic stuff. I hoped for real functionality, but what we got is some cosmetic changes. I have waited for a long time and must now come to the conclusion that Pixelfed is a dead end street. I have deleted my three accounts.
@sourdoughstereo What do you mean you can't scroll within a profile? Story reactions and comments are coming in the next build, same with DM notifications (they require some updates to the backend and proxy server).
@pixelfed Click on a profile, click on a photo, then I should be able to scroll down someone’s timeline. Sorry, I have waited far too long for these functionalities, don’t believe they will be implemented in the near future. It should have been prioritized over cosmetic changes.
@sourdoughstereo That wouldn't work, we have comments shown on posts, unless we just treat them like a timeline, like we do in Loops.
We will fix this, and the other things you mentioned are already on our todo list, we wish you well on your journey, wherever you land ❤️
@pixelfed is it in Swift? How come it’s so big?
Anyway 👍👍
@pixelfed great. Could you now update the repository sourcecode?
@tctdiy_gaming @pixelfed We would really appreciate the source code of this "open" app.
@jumpingpants @tctdiy_gaming It will be open sourced when its ready!
@pixelfed @jumpingpants @tctdiy_gaming the same repository as the old version? Asking because of a bug I found.
@pixelfed is the choice of list view vs tiles coming back (when visiting someones account)?
