Why is it so hard to drag and drop things into the right branches in tree collection management UIs in like, every software

@cwebber how many trees do you have?
It does seem like a hard problem to get right. But it's always so painful
@cwebber You have to drag to the node to get to the leafs.
But I prefer two tree panes with left / right move buttons in between.
