Among other cool things, a new and improved remote desktop system, which is more performant comes with an exclusivity mode and shared clipboard; more calendars and keyboards for more cultures and languages; and better accessibility and usability features.

I know Linux is all about modularity and all, but I'm still waiting for the day where screenreaders are just pre-installed and fully (Orca + dispatcher + eSpeak/whatever) ready to use right from the moment you insert the boot stick. One of the few things Windows does well.

Just went through my settings and saw Oxygen has been re-added and I couldn't be any more happier. That was peak Plasma.

just read with great alarm that my beloved #KDEPlasma will soon only support Wayland and no longer X11 🥵
I really enjoy playing #Freedoko (https://gitlab.com/dknof/FreeD), but that only works with #X11.
Apparently, with XWayland, you can run programs that require X11 even under Wayland.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t work with some programs. They do start up, but they don’t function properly. For example, with Freedoko, the game window opens, but you can’t interact with the cards or see the animations. The program uses multiple windows at the same time. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work with XWayland. That’s why I’m asking for #fedihelp regarding #Linux and #XWayland for #Freedoko 🙏
