@coriander I'll admit I couldn't find actual saccharine tablets.
Turns out saccharine tabs came in different sizes anyway, and the recipe doesn't specify.
But Sweet & Low has a lot of saccharine in it, so I decided that one packet of S&L counted as one saccharine tab. (That would be about right if he was using 0.5gr tablets.)
I think I guessed right. The sweetness was about right. That wasn't one of the problems.
@Taweret @coriander Using good coffee would not be in the spirit of the thing.
This recipe is very much about Price intentionally giving his guests terrible coffee.
@coriander I kinda expected it to be like that old fashioned pizza recipe @Taweret dug up that one time : Old-fashioned and weird, but perfectly edible.
That would probably be the case if I'd gone with the cinnamon option, but the clove is too overpowering and weird.

@apLundell @coriander if you were gonna make subsitutions anyway you couldve used good coffee
