Oh, interesting! So we have two different fruits sharing the same common name, pawpaw. Nature can be confusing sometimes! Ours is Carica papaya, while yours is Asimina triloba. Have you tasted ours? If you have, how would you compare the two? I would really love to taste yours, but I honestly don't know how possible that would be.

From my research, I understand that both species can grow in different climatic conditions, including tropical and temperate regions. That makes me think Asimina triloba could potentially be grown here in Nigeria too. The funny thing is, I haven't come across a single one here.
