Dwarf fortress might be the most complex game I’ve ever played. So I jumped at the chance to work with mightymerch.store to make a 20th anniversary map poster. This one was beyond fun to draw. Just like my previous island map I used Gaea to design the 3d landscape from a sketched height-map and then drew all the underground fortress over that. #mapping #map #cartography #cross-section #dwarffortress
