I know I let our Pixelfed community down by focusing so intensely on Loops from August 2025 to 2026.
I said I would come back to Pixelfed after FediCon, and finally launch the new mobile app and webUI redesign.
11 backend releases later, Pixelfed has caught up with several backend bug fixes, performance improvements and new federation support (Quote Posts, Starter Kits + more).
Now our new mobile app is rolling out, and the webUI will follow later this year.
Thank you for believing in me ❤️
@dansup Cool! I have been using Pixelix latley due to all the bugs in the Pixelfed app but trying a new app has been really fun as well, some cool features there!
@Nkrook94 Glad to hear that, and yeah @Pixelix is a gorgeous Android app!
We're working on 3rd party push notification support so you can get the most out of 3rd party apps, like you can with the official app.
That is what makes the fediverse unique, anyone can build a client with the same API access, and the people can choose the one the like most!
@dansup Thanks a lot for your work! 🫶🏼

@dansup you never let us down you simply put a lot of responsibility's which we're important. I always wanted to support the project better but I still can't code and I think a lot of people are thankful and feel this way
