im in need of obsidian advice!!
what options do you guys recommend for synching that synchs over the wifi? i dont wanna use any cloud drive
windows to android (if it supports linux its a plus)
needs to be easy to setup, preferably set up once and forget it running on background

i'm upset at the notes app im currently using and need to see if i can adapt moving fully to obsidian before the next yearly charge
i already use obsidian for more thought-out notes, but not so much for daily use, so im hoping i can just extend my usage instead of finding a new app altogether

the syncing in obsidian is a big rabbit hole.
I ended going with using a self hosted thing in my server that holds and sync all my notes to other places so its no longer desktop <-> phone but desktop <-> server <-> phone

it's funny you mention this when i just posted about Syncthing (it's what i use for this exact purpose)
