Hey BC! Today is the first advance poll for municipal elections!! Who’s voting today!? Reply and boost with your community!
#PortAlberni
is having their polls at Echo Community Centre from 8AM-8PM.
GO VOTE but if you’re not ready to vote yet, don’t worry!
You still have two more voting days, the 2nd advance on the 14th and final voting day on Saturday October 17th.
YAY DEMOCRACY! :+)
@Albernicucumber it’s not easy! The list for SD70 is on the ACRD election website. Other than that there’s not a lot of info on individuals.
@chris I thought Port Alberni would have hosted a trustee outreach session.
@Albernicucumber ya it is unfortunate that that has not happened when there was one for ACRD directors and Council
@chris I am not voting today, I'll vote on the election days. But I'm paying attention to the local slate of candidates (View Royal). Some seem good. Some seem so-so. And some are a straight no.
@kboyd I really liked the former Mayor there David Screech. Good fellow. But sometimes you have to let things go and give new voices a chance. Good luck with your picks!

@chris How do you research school trustees?
