Is it possible to have my snac instance use TOR to federate *and* to have it available over clearweb at the same time?
Would this mean that my instance pulls data from other instances using TOR, but other instances would only use the clearweb to pull data from me, so they could be blocked at the national level?

Does anyone know of any Fedi software which *can* federate over TOR/I2P *and* the clearweb, for resilience in the face of internet crackdowns?

sounds like this requires `.onion` #URLs as #identifiers. does it? Which won't resolve without #tor, right?
As far as I know, this is an unmet need. I'd love to see federate-via-Tor as a configurable option for ActivityPub instances.
I *think* it would require Fediverse resources to be able to have multiple alternative (base) URLs, instead of just one.
"You can find this server on climatejustice.social, or biglongstring.onion, or biglongstring2.i2p."
Am I right, and would that require a change to the protocol?

Hi! I'm not totally sure because I haven't tested it (I no longer have the infrastructure), but I think that's not possible.
