@ChuckMcManis On Vivaldi for MacOS version 8.2.4133.83 I'm able to switch off the checkbox in the settings which makes the "[VPN]" label in the toolbar disappear.
@hypolite On this screen the Blue Check box next to "Enable VPN" is checkable?
@ChuckMcManis Yes, and I unchecked it on Windows 11 as well on Vivaldi version 8.2.4133.83 as well.

@hypolite Interesting, because I can click all I want on that button and it never turns off. The tracking prevention buttons work fine. Looked at help and I'm on:
8.2.4133.47 (Official Build) (64-bit)
So I'm upgrading to .83 to see if it changes that.
@Vivaldi Let us turn off the Proton VPN and then I'd probably use it as my primary browser. That you have a graphic in settings that *looks* like a switch but isn't, that's just disingenuous.
