@davep sigh. Two web clients truncated the gopher:// link without option to display the full one and a desktop client just removed it from the post lol

@amlor Hi 👋 I'm not sure about Phanpy, but Tuba doesn't actually touch the links at all, which makes me suspect that maybe there's something going on with the way GoToSocial sends it to the clients (FWIW, from my instance, I see it as shown on mastodon-web, with the full scheme).
I don't have access to a federated GTS instance, so would you mind helping both me and Phanpy debug this a bit?
Open your browser's web inspector network tab and search for this post and send back the "content" field
@Tuba oh you're right, it's gotosocial that is truncating the link.
It doesn't do it when the post is opened directly on the instance page though.

@amlor Thanks! Was it Tuba that hid the link completely? I see GTS is actually sending an anchor but without setting the href... Tuba probably just skips it as broken, I'll see about keeping it as is instead!

It seems that it's the same situation there too, the link is styled, because it's an actual anchor, but doesn't lead to anywhere / is not clickable :/
