@grishka It's an auto-update until an adversary finds a way to use it maliciously, I suppose 🤷

@cattail what if the developer turns into an adversary, e.g. after an acquisition?

Gregory, you either trust developer/publisher or build everything from source (after reading it). I doubt there were ever any other options.
