I am the word witch.
I have the magic.

The men behind the machines keep stealing the spells after they're cast, but they can't recreate the magic because they aren't the source, and no matter how clever they make their machines, they can only steal, not create.

We are the source.
We have the magic.
Don't forget it.

No one is more annoyed by the Al revolution
than people who can actually write a sentence.
Basically, having any ability to write now is
suspect - you will get accused of being Al at
some point. It feels like you are being accused of
being a witch, of holding a type of rare magic
that only the machines are now allowed to have.

@susankayequinn Literally seeing increasing instances of people being called emdash clankers – an excellent insult when true – when they're clearly human, just because they can express themselves coherently and with precision.

@clacke an integral part of the AI project is to blur the difference between humans and machines, and not just by elevating the machines but by degrading the humans

@susankayequinn I am a cousin of the word witch, the Photography Sorceress. My Pentax is encanted to produce photos with visualization of light that is now otherwise relegated ro the realm of AI. With my photos I produce a portal in which the images from my mind are visible, and it makes the AI tremble.
