Discussion
@pfefferle OK, I owe you a fiver ; )
One group of objections seems to be edge case concerns about interop with Lemmy. Others seem to be out-of-context for this discussion.
Anyway, the MVP is;
* Bob makes WP blog post
* Alice comments from fediverse
* Bob gets notification via designated fediverse account of a new comment, with a link to the place in the admin dashboard where he can read it, perform mod actions, etc.
I can't see any T&S concerns in this.

Sorry, didn't see this at the time (just stumbled on it while searching for something else).
This sounds ideal. As long as a notification is delivered somewhere in the WP interface, telling the author there's a new comment.
If this is the case, then the grumbles I vaguely remember are either a) out-of-date, or b) never applied to AP for WP in the first place : )

BTW We may be talking past each to some degree, because I've never had the opportunity to use WP with your plugin. Apologies for not clarifying that I was making a very generic suggestions, rather than commenting on AP for WP specifically.

@strypey the plugin uses all the core functionalities! you get an email or a notification in WordPress when it is held for moderation.

What about if it isn't?
@strypey it depends on how you set up your WordPress. When you have enabled email notifications for new comments, you will get a mail for every new reply, like, boost, …
The plugin tries to integrate as best as possible into WordPress and adapts the core behavior when possible.

@strypey you do not have to go to the WP-Admin to comment. The comment is right below your post, like any other comment and you can simply hit the reply button there.
