When friendships are ended unilaterally:

@Tionisla I don’t think what they’ve done is legal. But in a world of LLMs, it doesn’t really matter anyway, does it?
@sizeofvoid @Tionisla To be honest, it sounds absurd. "Hey, people are stealing our code, so we will leave friends (correct, fair friends) out so we can protect it".
While the bad ones will continue to steal.
It doesn't make sense, to me.
@Tionisla @sizeofvoid it is legal to make new contributions GPL-only.
@sizeofvoid I understand their reasons, but I doubt the gplv2 will be sufficient to help defending themselves against the scrapers and rip-offs.
Anyway, it's really a pity for the *BSDs, tho.
