ICE was waiting outside to re-arrest them.
A federal judge ripped into government officials for seemingly flouting her order in a hearing earlier this month
"...When Alex walked out of the Aurora immigrant detention center last month, freed by a judge’s order after more than a year inside, he heard someone yell his name.
He turned. Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement had been lying in wait for him, he said. They cuffed his hands, and one of them elbowed him in the leg. He was put into a vehicle and, after a short drive, returned to the facility he had thought he was leaving behind. ..."

@ai6yr same here in Minnesota. Ice releases people on Judges orders and then rearrest them just beyond the door.
Judges here are getting very angry with ICE about these rearrests.
