Please for the love of god, understand how a zip merge works. Clogging up the road in one long queue and then angrily not letting anyone in because they haven't queued is not how it works. Use both lanes.

@alisynthesis @anon_opin no. I'm in full agreement with OP here. If there are multiple lanes, and there is a sudden queue because of road works or whatever, then you are obliged to take the least filled lane to make the line as short as possible.
Otherwise the queue will just grow and start spilling over into adjacent roads.
@anon_opin while your way is obviously the more efficient way, if everyone else has decided to line up, doesn't it make you the asshole because you insist on doing it *the right way* instead of going with the flow?
