Biggest veggie garden I have ever done is now underway,
Last year, overwhelmed by new space, I planted rhubarb, 4 tomatoes, 5 sweet corn and three silverbeet that gave me leaves through to last week.
This year, asparagus (9 of the 10 bare roots have pushed up spindly spears!), 10 sweetcorn, 8 tomatoes, same flourishing rhubarb, plot of maybe 40 carrots, two rows of leeks, and three capsicums.
Feeling pretty bloody chuffed. Only maybe 2/3 full, and still a fair bit of room. What to add…….
