@permacomputer Hell yeah.
You wanna gimmie a rundown?
@ajroach42 the idea is to distribute code printed / copied onto paper.
paper archives longer than any other medium.
the code also has to be simple and easy to understand.
these machines will come with a BASIC interpreter, and will have 64KB of RAM -- they're gonna be based on the RP2040, and will be running the Arduino core.
lots of links are probably necessary at this point.
this is the BASIC:
What's setting you on fire?
@ajroach42 I discovered, even in my tiny apartment, I could build a compact, mobile, electronics lab with spare plywood and a few casters
It's pretty sweet, if I do say so myself
@cypnk Oh neat! What does that entail?
@ajroach42 UPS on the bottom shelf, right side drawer power supply, top soldering iron and oscilloscope, left drawer multimeters and leads for both, rear and side walls full of part shelves which open outward to reveal the main working surface with anti-static mat
I should probably put together a set of blueprints to build it
@ajroach42 https://awslabs.github.io/palace/stable/ THIS IS LIKE THE MOST ANARCHIST SHIT EVER AND IT'S LITERALLY AMAZON
@dirtwizard666 I don't think I know enough about engineering to understand what I'm looking at, but your enthusiasm is infectious.

@ajroach42 just rewatching the 'animes made by a literal cult' series from Mother's Basement.
@ajroach42 The Expanse is atrocious. Carrie is actually pretty good even though I'm not the target demo. Most new stuff kind of sucks.
Have you seen a movie that didn't get a theatrical release recently?
or really any movie you wanna talk about that didn't involve Lance Oppenheim?
