So, where I live, lots of people have chickens, and lots of driveways have a cooler and a sign, "eggs, $5/doz".
Now imagine a billionaire moves in. He goes around every morning and buys all the eggs, then puts a cooler on his driveway with a sign, "eggs, $7/doz".
Has he done good or bad?
Capitalism says he did good, because he has increased profits and the economy is growing.
Socialism says he did harm, because food that was $5 is now $7 and life is more expensive.
@silvermoon82 he is rent seeking, and probably making the eggs worse in the meantime (extra handling giving it extra opportunities for breakage and spoilage, not tracking the age of the eggs or health of the chickens, etc)
