@AbandonedAmerica people talk about the Harambee thing as when this timeline diverged (and in short, ugh), but there's a case to be made that it happened when we wrote off Dean for showing enthusiasm.

@AbandonedAmerica I mean I remember being really mad about it then, like "hey everybody this guy actually wants to do the thing and do it well so that he helps people, why are we making fun of him ffs"
@ephesossh I didn't make fun of him but I did have a really sick Crystal Method remix of the speech that I downloaded off of Napster. I listened to it about 10000 times and died laughing every time. Which I admit was sort of making fun of him but also, I did legitimately think it was incredible and would totally have voted for him, probably solely based on that.

@FritzAdalis my wife didn't know about that whole thing and couldn't believe it tanked his presidential run. Tbh I still can't either. It was pretty awesome.
