Got the results of my sleep study back. One obstructive apnea event, one central apnea event (which I distinctly remember waking up from), not reaching the threshold of what my insurance considers needing treatment but they want me to consider CPAP anyway. But CPAP didnβt help me the last time either. Thereβs also the possibility of a mouth appliance (but I already wear a bruxism night guard) or a surgical option to help with the obstructive part, but itβs the central thats been the issue.

They also claim snoring but at-home snoring detection things never turn up for me and they pretty much forced me to favor sleeping on my back, when Iβm usually a side sleeper.
Iβm just glad I finally have a test showing the central apnea which Iβve always known Iβve had but which is only intermittent.
