not so much a mandate to lead as a narrow mandate to just like, don't invade or nuke iran, and get gas prices back to normal, which will happen automatically if you don't invade or nuke iran. they don't even have to stop the gaza genocide or stop fucking over white people in any way possible, that's just back to standard operating procedure. I am very excited to see how democrats fuck this up in one term.

@aetios as I mentioned in other thread, if democrats manage to not fuck this up before riding this into the presidency (toss-up) it's really just a reversion back to the original plan of orderly destruction of the country instead of rapid neglectful destruction. I have nothing but contempt for democrats, republicans just edged them out as worse is all.
@aetios there is a non-trivial chance that Trump will try to cancel presidential elections or do a coup and then who knows what will happen. what's his option, he's fucking toast when he leaves office, his enemies will now stop at nothing to (justifiably) destroy him, how can he prevent that when he's lost everything. I am trying to think of a way out but I don't see one.

@bajax wishful thinking, if trump's a lame duck president (no such thing anymore) he's actually more free. it's not like the president has to go to congress to bomb places anymore for the last 30 years
