@pixelfed It’s good to see this choice has been made.
If I recall, there was a lot of heated discussion as to whether a media-focused platform should do anything with media types outside its speciality.
Rendering the preview Note is a good bare minimum to let users know at least ‘something’ has been federated.
Will this text be rendered with line breaks?
