Just... no. This is unacceptable. (GrapheneOS default camera app... I hear they may have a new one soon? I hope it won't do this. Meanwhile, alternate app suggestions?)
Image CW for textural grossness
Me: This is a beautiful texture, even in low resolution it's an experience worth sharing.
Phone: We have enhanced your bricks they are now made of worms.
Me: Not what I requested.

This looks like a possibility for having manual control over what enhancements are used.
Edit: YES this works I can get unenhanced photos with grain. Without having to go down to processing raws.
Anyhow my original point was pretty green grass.
@d_rift Yeah, I felt that way with a sunset shot on my iPhone (older model, with older OS version, too). It really sauced it up.
@ml This specific artifacting implies approaches to image enhancement beyond just combining frames or color correction. Maybe it will be enough to get me using a real camera again.
@ml I can pull raws on my phone using another app, so that is also an option. But it adds steps either way; visual communication becomes delayed.
I love this scene but am perturbed by the enhancement artifacts my phone camera apparently believed I needed.
