on the plus side tomorrow i finally have a phonecall with jewish family services to see if there's anything they can do to help me with chronic disability issues during crashes/flareups/etc.
having someone who can help me out with cleaning and organizing and grocery shopping and meal prep and so on would be amazingly helpful
@fluffy So I have read that in pre-Renaissance Europe there was a belief that a person _couldn't_ have more than one illness at a time, bodies just didn't work like that. Turns out not so much but it sure would make for better game balance if it did.
@Austin_Dern yeah wasn't that a big part of humor theory?
also there were entire civilizations that thought that having lice was healthy because they noticed that unhealthy people didn't have lice (because their higher body temperature drove the lice away)
@fluffy Oh, I haven't heard that about lice. Interesting and not preposterous thinking.
love how when I'm sick I'm also super prone to sensory overload and oh hey one of my cats just had a stinky poo well okay now I just wanna die
