Learjet headed to Bahamas crashes in Palm Beach County with 9 people on board
GREENACRES, Fla. — A Learjet carrying nine people crashed in a residential area near Cresthaven on Sunday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA said the Learjet 60 crashed around 12:50 p.m. The aircraft had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was headed to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

@ai6yr Screenshot from the video my son sent me, just as the aircraft impacted the ground, and an important flying surface seems to be missing: the elevator. Not sure if the Lear has a stabilator (single piece flying surface) or a standard two piece elevator, but it's missing and there is no chance of keeping an aircraft in the air without it.
