I am now incredibly stiff, having spent the day on all fours in a selection of wet bushes, but wow was that a cracking day of super-sneaky Airsoft.
No photographs, sadly, because the photographer said that he couldn't find me to take my photo.

@neil commiserations from someone who also spent yesterday prancing around with weapons trying (though mostly failing) to show considerably younger people how it's done. Jaimie's advice is solid. Hot baths are also good for us oldies.

Actually, ice baths are better but nobody wants to do that shit. Horrible. Go for hot with some candles and a bath bombe. I'm sure Neil has some of those put by.

(I have some tea lights in our emergency cupboard, and some pyrotechnics, so that will have to do.)
I have also managed to sprain (or similar) my right hand, which is rather sore.

The older I get the more I live in fear of doing similar hurty things to my limbs, joints and so on. Low level pain is a right misery.
