RE: https://toot.fedilab.app/@apps/117509325462066459
You seem interested in the feature to follow a conversation.
#Fedilab uses APIs, so this would be in-app.
When you follow a conversation, the app would save the root message ID (from your instance).
It would then fetch new messages since the last snapshot, in the background or at startup, from your instance and from the remote one when possible.
Notifications would look like the other ones. Tapping one would open the conversation at the new reply.
Two features I could add to #Fedilab: the #HolosDiscover API, which helps small instances get more content, and/or an option to follow conversations. You'd be notified of new replies, and it would stop automatically after a while. Both are already available on #HolosSocial

@apps Thanks for all the work you do to add new features to this app. Following conversations does seem like a useful addition.
I wonder if you would consider adding a native GIF picker in the post composer? I've found that is a feature which is missing from basically all Android based Mastodon clients, and it's probably due to API costs etc. Maybe the ability for a user to add their own Klipy API key would solve that?
