Yesterday I blocked all of the Facebook/Meta IP blocks at my Friendica node's firewall, and it's way more stable now.

literally ran the script for their page:
curl -sO https://cloud-ip-ranges.com/download/meta.txt
while read ip; do
iptables -A INPUT -s $ip -j DROP
iptables -A OUTPUT -d $ip -j DROP
done < meta.txtI did verify that *was* the meta IP ranges of course - since I needed to make sure that it was what I meant to do, and verified the text file download was the same list.
@tek @silverwizard It should be a firewall block of IP ranges.
