My writing is such that I feel Twitter, and the pretty terse 280 character limit, was the only thing that's ever made me force my writing into a mode clear and succinct enough that large numbers of people would want to read it.

Of course the obvious question is, "are there some people who it's actually bad for either themselves or others if large numbers of people are now reading their writing?"

if we're talking 1-to->=10000, instant, public, ad-monetized engagement-driven unmoderated (blocks/mutes don't count) replies posting, i think that's most people. twitter's aspirational product experience was bad for a majority of the people unlucky enough to experience it.
