I think it's time to move #Fedilab forward. I haven't introduced an ambitious feature in a long time.
The idea is a shared Home timeline with all connected accounts, with the option to exclude some of them.
Actions on a message won't need extra effort: the right account will be used, and if several accounts are involved, the app will ask you which one to use.
It's a lot of work, so I'm asking you first.
I would aplause an alt.txt feature wich would allow me to save in and load from alt.txt in a standalone file aside the image.
E.G. ImageOfMe.jpg aside a file ImageOfMe.alt.txt which has the alt.txt.
This would make handling alt.txt much more comfortable in my eyes.

This is probably fine for people having quasi-identical accounts on several instances. A "unified" view might be beneficial.
This is probably awful for people using multiple accounts to strictly separate their engagements (job/private; brand A/B/C; etc.). Everything gets stirred into the same soup.
I might like it a lot, there are some posting sorts that seem best handled by different accounts.
I’m still using the default web interface in browser tabs to deal, no app at all, so apparently my inertia is high (didn’t want to say Will use it. should use, maybe.) @apps

That probably would make me use my pixelfed on fedilab more.
Asking first clearly saves hours of work :)
@apps I would love an option to follow answers to a post I didn't liked or saved.
And an autosave for post with pictures and alternative text that could not be sent because of network.

I've clearly stepped back from coding, but having goals other than fixing issues brings some satisfaction as a dev, a kind of challenge. But I won't work on something people aren't waiting for :)
@apps I'm on a small instance, most of the time. Still, I'd love to see the hashtags I follow on a larger instance

@apps What do you mean by "connected accounts"?
How would this differ from my existing Home feed?
Only benefit I can think of might be for those that have multiple accounts on multiple servers and want a single feed to span them all. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?
If so, not a benefit I'd find useful at all.
