We are so beaten down that we can't imagine a government that actually works for #WeThePeople
We are electing a new crop of progressives and we are not going to take this shit anymore. The fight has just begun. Don't give up hope that a better future is possible.
It's the same feel as taking down Flock cameras. The police just replace them with Axon cameras. I get that we need to do what we can even if it's not perfect, but campaigns against brand names (Flock/ICE) are really vulnerable to the old switcheroo.
Cool, though I wish people realized that George W. Bush's Department of Homeland Security is the US gestapo, and ICE is just a small part of it. Rip ICE apart, the DHS will just make a new agency with a different name, hire the same people, and laugh at those idiots who didn't assassinate them the moment the PATRIOT Act was proposed.
