to all the Steam Next Fest developers who used genAI for like one thing
was it worth it?
did it make your game easier for you to make?
is that worth the number of people who will now look at your game and go "well I definitely don't want to play a game made by someone who refuses to make games"?
like, why does every game need to be card-based
I say this as someone who is developing a card game engine
why does every game need to be a "roguelike" and have zero shared characteristics with the next game that is a "roguelike" in my queue
whenever I see a disclaimer like "some of the assets were stolen but I decided which ones" that translates in my head to "everything in this game is stolen"
