@mechanical0815 Great work. It's definitely time for decent bike lights in Northern Europe!
@freecad Created a vacuum cleaner attachment to allow it to reach into tight areas. Used a 15mm CPAP hose. Learned about subtractive helixes to make it happen. #freecadfriday

@freecad I built a case for my Heltec Wireless Sticks so I can test different antennas without having too many cables in the way.
@fehlfarbe Excellent work, is this for meshtastic or similar?
@freecad thanks!
I live in a rental apartment and I'm not allowed to install any additional devices, such as a Shelly smart meter, in my breakers box. That’s why I’d like to read my current electricity usage directly from the electricity meter which has an infrared interface for this. The meter is located in the basement, but my apartment is on the 6th floor. So I’d like to test different antennas to see if I can transmit data from the basement to my apartment via LoRa.
@fehlfarbe Nice solution!
@freecad Since the mount for a bike light didn't fit on an aero handlebar, a 3D-printed solution had to be designed.
Already tested (printed in PETG). 👍
